DWMT

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

DWMT ("the app") is made by Navar Labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. The short version: your data exists to give you your own reads, we don't sell it, we don't use it to train AI models, and you can delete all of it in two taps.

What we collect

Your voice never leaves your phone

Voice debriefs are transcribed on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition. We never receive, store, or process audio. Only the text you can read on screen is sent to our servers.

How we use your data

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. Your data is not used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that make the app work: Supabase (database and hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), and Apple (sign-in and payments). Each processes data only to provide their service to us. If we add analytics or crash reporting, we will update this policy first.

About the people you describe

Debriefs naturally contain information about the people you date. That information exists only to serve you: we never contact those people, never show them anything, and never use their information for any purpose beyond generating your own reads. You are responsible for what you choose to share. Deleting a person from the app deletes everything about them, including from our servers.

Sensitive information

Debriefs are free-form, so what you share is up to you. Some of what you share may be sensitive: for example, information that reveals someone's sexual orientation, health, religion, or similar characteristics, about yourself or about people you date. By using DWMT and submitting a debrief, you explicitly consent to us processing the sensitive information you choose to include, solely to generate your own reads as described in this policy. Where the law requires a separate explicit consent for this (for example under GDPR Article 9), your consent during onboarding and your act of submitting each debrief is that consent, and you can withdraw it at any time by deleting the relevant person or your account.

Please do not submit health information, including mental health information, about yourself or others. DWMT is not a health service and does not want this data. If you include it anyway, it is processed under the same consent, protections, and deletion controls as everything else, and deleting the person or your account deletes it.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can delete any person (two taps, removes every date, debrief, and insight about them) or your entire account (Settings, "Delete everything") at any time. Account deletion removes all of your data from our servers, including your authentication record. There is no undo.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to your rows is enforced at the database level: your data is readable by your account and no one else's.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA and UK under GDPR, and California under the CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Access, export, and deletion are built into the app; for anything else, email us and we will respond within the time the law requires. We will never discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

Our legal bases under GDPR are: performance of our contract with you (running the app), legitimate interest (keeping the service secure), and your explicit consent (for any sensitive information you choose to include in debriefs, as described above). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first at support@navarlabs.dev, but you can contact your authority at any time.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, so there is nothing to opt out of. Because we do not track you across other companies' sites or apps, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off, and we treat all users as if those signals were on.

Where data lives

Our servers are in the United States. If you use the app from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. Where the law requires a transfer mechanism for this (such as for EU/EEA or UK users), we rely on our providers' participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses in our agreements with them. You can email us for more detail about the safeguards that apply to your data.

Children

DWMT is for adults. It is rated 17+ and not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17; if we learn we have, we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before the change takes effect.
